Requirements for a visa to the United States from Ecuador

When considering a trip to the United States, it's important to analyze the available US visa types and which one best suits your needs. In most cases, the Ecuadorian tourist visa is the most appropriate and the most common when processing applications with consular officials. Some US visa requirements for Ecuadorians that you should consider are the following:

Have an Ecuadorian passport with at least 6 months of validity.
Complete the Ecuadorian DS-160 form online correctly. To apply for a U.S. visa in the appropriate city, the Embassy website is the only official way to do so.
Present all necessary documents, from personal to financial, such as bank statements or employment certificates, to demonstrate family, social, and work ties sufficient for the consular officer to see that you have no intention of traveling to the United States to reside.
With the exception of applicants for US visas for children in Ecuador and people over 79 years of age, everyone must register their fingerprints using an electronic system.
